Known issues and troubleshooting

Problem: Large print files for award certificates.

The child award certificates can be large when printing (40MB). This can cause print delays when many children try to print on a network at the same time.

Solution

The development team are working on a solution to this known issue

Problem: Lengthy download times for levels.

Some schools have reported length download times when starting a level, especially when many children are using the online games at the same time on a school network.

Solution

The development team are working on a solution for the online game, however a solution is to use the CD-ROM version of the game. Click here for information (take to the CD-ROM version information – above!)

Problem: Maze game on level 3 difficult for children to complete.

Some schools have reported that the maze game on level 3 difficult for children to complete. Children can drive off the road and become trapped on the grass.

Solution

Children should be able to return to the road by retracing the key presses which put them onto the grass. If a child cannot complete the level then we recommend that another child assist them to complete the maze. The development team are working on making the controls for the maze game easier to use.
